The best Campervan hire companies in New Zealand

If you’re planning a bucket list adventure in New Zealand, you might want to hire a campervan. It’s a romantic (and surprisingly convenient) way to travel the country… but which campervans are the best?

Join us as we compare the different campervan hire companies.

With a total area of 268,000 sq km, and a cumulative length of around 1970 km, there’s a lot to see in New Zealand…

And, for many, a campervan is the best way to see the country.

Hiring a van gives complete flexibility over your itinerary. You won’t have to rely on public transport timetables and you can pull over any time you like to make lunch or have a nap.

Say goodbye to packing up your gear each morning (like you’d normally do when leaving a motel or hotel) and save money by freedom camping.

But which company is the best option for you?

Join us as we take a look at the best companies (in no particular order) to use for campervan hire in NZ!

Did you know? A ‘campervan’ is a converted van, while a ‘motorhome’ is a custom-built camper. A motorhome is often referred to as a campervan too though. We don’t tend to use the term ‘RV’, but it is also widely understood.

All prices and hire requirements were correct at the time this article was published. Please check with your chosen campervan company to confirm they have not changed.
