With six unique adventures, Forgotten World Adventures is the perfect way to discover the hidden-gems between Taumarunui and Stratford.
Using the 142km-long historic Stratford-Okahukura Line (SOL), with its 24 hand-cut tunnels and 90+ hand-made bridges, you’ll ride your own little rail cart through one of New Zealand’s most remote regions.
With a rich history, dating back to 1901, these experiences give you a chance to learn about the people and places history has since left behind – and you’ll enjoy a memorable day amongst beautiful scenery at the same time.
Take control of your own rail cart (2, 4 and 6 seaters available), travelling at a leisurely yet thrilling pace of 22km/hr (maximum).
