Enjoy a self-guided walk around Orakei Korako’s boardwalk tracks.

This easy walk is suitable for almost all ages (though because of the steps, is not suitable for wheelchair users or strollers) and will allow you to walk right past bubbling mud pools, stunning geothermal pools, mineral deposits and more.

If you’re planning to visit in the summertime, we suggest packing your togs to enjoy a swim on the lake’s edge, too.
