We’ve organised a wide range of discounts for your New Zealand travel.

These promo codes provide an additional discount, but occasionally things go wrong.

Please check over this page if you’re having a hard time with one of our discounts.

How to overcome promo code difficulties

Promo code declined

Expired

From time to time, a promo code expires.

If this has happened, please contact us. We’ll reach out to the operator and will ask for an extension.

Already discounted

If a pass is already discounted, an additional discount might not be possible.

This often includes family passes and combo tickets.

Fareharbor issues

Some people have difficulty finding the right place to enter the promo code on Fareharbor bookings.

Enter the correct promo code just under the passenger/guest names, where it says “Add promo or discount code”.

Do this for each person.

Do not put the promo code in the voucher section at check-out – it won’t be recognised there.

Backpacker Deals issues

Calendar missing availability

Occasionally Backpacker Deals won’t display a product availability calendar.

If this is the case, use the live chat to manually request your booking.

Check availability directly with the operator (for example, RealNZ).

Then use the chat on Backpacker Deals to let them know what activity you would like to book, for how many people and when, and give them the promo code ‘NZTT’ (otherwise they won’t know to apply your discount).

Next, they’ll email you an invoice with a link to make payment. Make that payment right away and reply to the chat advising you’ve done this.

Then they will be able to confirm your tickets for you.

In all, this process only takes a few minutes.

If the calendar is showing, but you can’t see where to enter the promo code, look on the right hand side for ‘Do you have a promo code? Click here’.
